Managing Partner - Technical Consulting

Mr. Brown is a results-oriented engineer with a passion for implementing next-generation technological solutions. He has a background in designing and delivering complex information technology systems for the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community.

His experience in an industry where human lives are continually at risk equips him with a unique perspective regarding the importance of system availability. Although the stakes are lower in the commercial realm, Mr. Brown believes that private sector organizations must also successfully harness technology to preserve the vitality of their business and to remain competitive.

Mr. Brown has an M.S. in Systems Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Vincenzo Villamena, CPA

Partner - Tax, Accounting, and Financial Consulting

Mr. Villamena is a financial expert with an uncanny attention to detail. He has extensive experience advising private equity and corporate clients on complex tax and accounting issues associated with a variety of transactions and structures including: M&A, LBOs, recapitalizations, stock compensation, IPOs, securitizations, complex financial instruments and derivatives. Mr. Villamena has the ability to perform analysis in valuation, corporate finance, and technical accounting. This includes building financial models, performing due diligence exercises, writing technical memos, and researching technical tax issues. He has built financial models and performed asset and stock valuations using DCF's, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, and option pricing models.

Mr. Villamena is a CPA with both “Big 4” audit and corporate accounting experience. He has experience with all aspects of M&A execution, through private equity and personal investing, which he is still involved with to date. Mr. Villamena recently served as CFO for a leading Peruvian furniture manufacturer.

He has both a Masters of Accounting and Bachelors of Business Administration with distinction from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M Ross School of Business.
